The JR Baker’s Dozen is a young women’s society that brings together our community’s most dynamic and inspiring young women in grades 8-11th grade – young women who believe in making a difference – and empowers them to act on that belief in a fulfilling and measurable way. These young women are a part of the JR Baker’s Dozen society because of their leadership, passion, and willingness to be a part of something bigger then themselves. During a ten-month campaign, each Honoree raises funds to provide meals for our hungry guests. And, at the close of the campaign, these outstanding Young Women are honored for their achievements during The JR Baker’s Dozen Celebratory Dinner. The 2024 dinner will take place at Catawba Country Club from 6-8PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Funding raised by The JR Baker’s Dozen will play a substantial role in providing food and supplies for our hunger programs to feed those in need throughout our community. Through these young women and their support, we hope to continue to reach more individuals in need, working towards the vision of alleviating the pain and indignity of hunger.
