Our intern Luke Wilkinson believes young men should have the same opportunity as the young women who take part in our JR Baker’s Dozen society. For his Senior Project, he launched The Corner Table’s Dudez Dozen!
The Dudez Dozen is a society that brings together Middle and High School aged men in our community – young men who were built to make a difference! These young men are a part of the society because of their leadership, passion, and dedication to a greater cause. During a five-month campaign, each DUDE raises funds to provide meals for our hungry guests. The Dudez Dozen will also be required to volunteer a minimum of ten hours with our feeding programs. At the close of the campaign, these outstanding Young Men are honored for their achievements during The Dudez Dozen Celebratory Dinner.
Funding raised by The Dudez Dozen will play a substantial role in providing food and supplies for our hunger programs to feed those in need throughout our community. Through these young men and their support, we hope to continue to reach more individuals in need, working towards the vision of alleviating the pain and indignity of hunger.
