The Corner Table is a Newton, NC soup kitchen that serves nutritious meals to any men, women and children in need. With the help of our volunteers, we have served over 200,000 meals since our founding in 2002. We welcome you to join us in providing hope to our neighbors in need.
Our Mission
The Corner Table, Inc. is a soup kitchen outreach ministry provided by the people of our community for the hungry of our community.
Our primary purpose is to provide nutritious meals in a comfortable environment for any man, woman and child who is in need.
Lunch is served from 11:15 until 12:30 Monday through Thursday, and a bag meal is given to guests as they leave on Thursday, to help them over the weekend.
The Corner Table, Inc. is a non-profit organization.
Our Ministry
The Corner Table does not pretend to offer a solution to the problems of poverty, homelessness, hunger, and unemployment.
We do help to put a real face on these problems, and faces of human hope in the midst of them. At the Corner Table, people offer and receive this blessing of hope in the context of a delicious meal.
Our Recipe
We care about our guests and they offer their own care and respect to us and one another in return.
By God’s grace we have found just the right recipe for blessings at The Corner Table. They pour in every day. We simply receive, share, and give humble thanks for them.
